ChevronTexaco
Teacher/Classroom Grant Program
Chevron
and Texaco have both had a long history of supporting communities where
they do business and where their employees live and work. ChevronTexaco
will continue these efforts. Effort to promote excellence in math, science,
and overall quality in schools has been a guiding factor in the focus
on education. The environment, with emphasis on conservation or habitat
and wildlife preservation has also been an important part of supporting
communities where we do business.
The purpose
of this grant program is to provide grants to teachers for creative
and innovative projects for classroom use that will directly impact
the quality of education for students. The goal of this program is to
support exemplary projects and curricular innovations. Areas of math,
science, reading, health and safety training as well as preparing students

grants.
