FCMAT Teleconferencing Project Update
The following is an update relative to our FCMAT Teleconferencing Project.
Burke Enterprises, COMSAT RSI's new subcontractor responsible for the installation portion of the FCMAT Teleconferencing Project, will be visiting the COEs listed below between the dates of April 6, and 11, for the purpose of deinstalling their DH dishes.
Lake
Modoc
Colusa
Mendocino
Lassen
Nevada
Humboldt
Butte
El Dorado
Del Norte
Glenn
Amador
Calaveras
We recently received word from COMSAT RSI regarding the pick up sequence of the remaining DH dishes currently housed at COEs. You will note that the schedule represents a sequence of pick-ups without accompanying dates. Because DH had difficulty with the schedule (including dates) on the pick up of the first thirty dishes, they are reluctant to attach a specific date to a pick up location. However, we are asking that they give you at lease a one-day advanced phone call relative to the date and approximate time they will be at your site. DH will begin picking up their dishes on Monday, April 13, 1998.

Due to the difficulties that have come up relative to processing and obtaining permits at each of the sites, COMSAT RSI / Burke Enterprises are proceeding as if every COE will require a permit. Thirty four (34) of the COE sites will need a new survey because the previous downlink installation contractor=s survey information is proving inadequate for submission to permit offices. If your building plans are available, please have them ready for the Burke installation crew when they arrive.
Should you have any questions regarding these matters, please give me a call. (805) 636-4614
