SUBJECT: FCMAT Teleconferencing Project Update

As you are aware, COMSAT/COM-KRAFT currently has downlink installers working through the various FCMAT Teleconferencing Project installation sites. Beginning this week, a second team will augment the work that is currently going on.

The purpose of this update is to let you know that the installation workers have run into a similar problem at several of the sites that they have visited. Namely, the absence of parts that are needed for the installation of the satellite dish and that were delivered with the dish. A list of these parts includes but is not limited to:

If an installation crew has not yet visited your site, would you please locate the ancillary materials that were delivered with your dish and secure them in a safe place, thus making them readily available for the installation crews. It is important that each COE have their equipment ready for the installers when they arrive. This will be very helpful to the installers.

If for any reason you can't locate the ancillary part(s) that came with your dish, please call Barry Sullivan of COMSAT immediately so that he can order and ship you the parts that are missing as well as reroute the installation crew. If you call Barry Sullivan to order new parts for your dish, please have a P.O. # ready to give him. You can reach Barry at (direct) 703-450-7291 or through his office 703-450-7030. If I can be of any help with these matters, please feel free to email or call me at 805-636-4614.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. Slowly but surely our project is moving closer to completion.
