CSBA's Annual Education Conference contains something for everyone … board members, superintendents, chief business officials, top administrative staff, personnel directors, curriculum directors, and vocational education administrators. The conference focuses on core board leadership issues with a multitude of workshop, clinics, and critical issues sessions. The high points of the Annual Conference are the general sessions, which always feature educational, political, and social leaders of the state and nation.

Conference on California's School Finance Provisions

This conference is offered annually and includes a complete discussion of all major school finance legislation affecting the current year budget, with special emphasis on provisions of the State Budget Act, including Proposition 98, revenue limits, special education and categorical programs. The conference is held immediately following adoption of the State Budget and is appropriate for board members, district superintendents and their cabinets, fiscal directors and other budget officers.

Governor's Budget Proposal

This annual workshop provides an in-depth discussion of the Governor's proposed budget and its impact on K-12 education. All aspects of the Governor's budget are covered in this compact half-day seminar. Audience participants can expect to receive up-to-date information regarding the Governor's fiscal recommendations in sufficient detail to plan budgets fully for the coming year.
